March is Women's History Month: Let's talk about intersectionality.

Intersectionality refers to the intersections between forms and systems of oppression.  Thus the experience of being a woman is not universal but rather experienced differently depending on our socioeconomic status, race or ethnicity, sexual orientation, ability, etc.

Explore some seminal works related to women's and gender studies and intersectionality available @ Armacost Library.

Kafer, Alison, Feminist, Queer, Crip

That's just a few to get you started.

And be sure to attend the 7th Annual Women's & Gender Studies Student Conference, Friday, March 20, 9am-4pm.  The program will be available later this month.
