Ebsco's president, Tim Collins, sent a letter of apology to users via email this morning. "We have obviously not performed at the level we desire in the past 24 hours," he acknowledged. "At this point, we can only apologize for the inconvenience caused by the outage and assure you that we will be doing a thorough analysis of the situation to identify root cause/s of the problem so that we can make the necessary improvements to insure that this does not occur again. We have already begun this process."
