This week the University of Redlands hosted a screening of No Más Bebés and discussion with the filmmaker, Renee Tajima-Peña. Women's health includes reproductive justice.
Tajima-Peña's film resurfaces a forgotten and not well know story of a small group of Latinas who sued county doctors, the state of California, and the federal government over coerced sterilization at the Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center in the 1960 and 1970s.Perhaps you'd like to explore the Armacost Library's collections for more information on women's health and reproductive health issues.
